Thank you for making The 2012 Howel Classic a success! Many thanks to all for making this year’s Howel Classic a resounding success. There was a wonderful buzz in the air Saturday evening and we heard many comments from people about what fun they had and how much they enjoyed the delicious and plentiful food. More than 120 people attended Saturday’s festivities. Sunday was a big hit with families and 200 people attended. There was a lot of positive ‘kid energy’ and someone emailed to relay her daughter’s sentiment, “That’s the MOST FUN I’ve ever had at the library!” That’s just what we want to hear!
We raised $27,897 this year compared with $19,869 in 2011. That’s an amazing 40% increase. This is the only fundraising event The Howe Library Corporation holds during the year, so it is vital to the funding of our operations and programming. We appreciate your support.
