Choices for Sustainable Living Discussion CourseThursday, March 18, 2010
Choices for Sustainable Living offers strategies for developing ecologically sustainable lifestyles, economies and lifestyles. Participants meet weekly to discuss selected articles and consider personal choices as they relate to society as a whole.

In response to growing interest in adopting sustainable lifestyles, Howe Library, the Sustainable Hanover Committee, Sierra Club, and the Northwest Earth Institute are sponsoring a community discussion course entitled Choices for Sustainable Living. The seven-week program will begin Thursday, February 11th from 7 -8:30 pm in the Rotary Room of the Howe Library, Hanover. It will run for six consecutive Thursday evenings.
The course is free; the course books may be borrowed from the library or purchased for $21. Barbara Duncan, former director of the Vermont Earth Institute, will lead the first discussion session.
The Northwest Earth Institute has always encouraged people to consider how their lifestyle choices impact the earth, says Barbara Duncan, Upper Valley Program Coordinator. Choices for Sustainable Living is a tremendous opportunity for participants to explore ways they can build, work, and live together in greater harmony with the natural world.
Date: March 18, 2010 Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Location: Rotary Room
